About Marya
As a contemporary artist, fabric designer, and interior designer, Marya Flurnoy’s work is a response to her surroundings, capturing the feelings of joy and enthusiasm in any space. With over two decades of co-owning Creative Design Team, her career in the design industry has earned recognition and awards in both residential and commercial spaces.
Marya strives to design unique interiors that will have a positive impact on her clients’ lives. She possesses an innate desire to create and design interiors that exceed clients’ expectations. Her passions in the industry include designing furniture, creating printed fabrics, mentoring new designers, and teaching business growth workshops to the trade.
Marya enjoys traveling with her husband Ron and two fur babies Max and Grace in their motorhome. Her other favorite pastimes include painting, travel, speaking, supporting the arts, and dance.

Every design team needs a project manager, but not every design team has a renaissance man. Ron majec and guidance is the glue that keeps the team together. His prior experience as a divisional manager for Novar Electronics Corporation and overseeing over 300 employees has it's benefits in the design industry. Every project is a success when the details are a priority. Ron applies his techniques from training staff, to installations and to accounting.
Ron also heads up the Custom Window Treatment department of Creative Design Team. As a leader in the motoriation application of blinds and shades , his expertise and accuracy are mandatory to design perfection.
Ron enjoys traveling and RVing , football and baseball. With his passion being light hearted and humorous.

April Skye
Lead Designer, Managing Partner
Prior to becoming a Managing Partner with Creative Design Team, April Skye graduated from Marya's Home Enhancing Certification Program, as well as earning a designation as a Hunter Douglas Certified Consultant and Window Fashions Certified Professional. She brings nearly a decade of design and project management experience to every design project.
In her free time, April enjoys spending time with her husband and singing with the Worship Team at Mission City Church in Largo. She also helps spearhead the “SMART Start” program with Marya, which supports the vision and growth of local youth and aspiring entrepreneurs.
